Community Development is at the heart of everything we do.
From serving as the catalyst for restoring a crumbling infrastructure to rehabilitating distressed properties, SEDCOM has a history of leadership in revitalizing the communities we serve.
Currently our groups are partnering with the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Office of Community Services (OCS), LISC, National Equity Fund (NEF), the City of Chicago, Illinois Housing Development Authority and some 50 community-based organizations in “bringing possibility to life” in Southeast Chicago.
